Axicom is a Swiss company that was separated in 1997 into an independent organization from the components division of Alcatel Switzerland Ltd. Since 1999, Axicom has been a part of the Tyco Electronics concern. It specializes in the production of signal relays.

Due to the high quality of execution and small size, the relays of the Swiss company Axicom are used in telecommunications equipment. All relays meet the requirements for the electrical strength of the dielectric, formulated in BELLCORE and FCC Part 68. For the telecommunications industry, Axicom offers a 4th generation relay (4G), which is the smallest. It is approved by the IEC 61811-55 standard.
